Client
David approached us in January 2023. He had moved from London to a tranquil, forest edge location. The garden had almost been absorbed from the forest and he tasked us with making it into a real garden he could enjoy.
Objectives
- Remove all overgrown vegetation
- Install herbaceous borders with year round colour
- Make large areas easy maintenance
- Maintain the garden going forward
Our Creation
- Working with the sloping ground in the garden we added an additional tier and steps for easy access to all areas
- Corten steel edging was used for the steps and path, then filled with 20mm shingle
- Two tiers of herbaceous planting, an orchard area and a shrub area
- A sleeper wall to retain the bank
- A new lawn with turf supplied from Sherborne Turf
